Privacy policy

Qazzly is a small independent business based in Morocco. We make spreadsheet templates, printable books and simple online tools. This page explains what data we handle and why. Short version: we collect as little as possible, we use no advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell data.
What we collect
- Visits. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not follow you across sites. We see totals (pages, countries, browsers), not individual people.
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Gumroad, which is the seller of record. We never see your card details. Gumroad shares with us your name, email address, the product you bought and your country, so we can deliver the product and help you.
- Emails you send us. If you write to hello@qazzly.com, we keep your message and address to answer you.
The Cleaning Quote calculator
Everything you type into the calculator (rates, rooms, client name, prices) stays in your browser. It is never sent to us.
If you buy Pro and enter your licence key, the key alone is sent to our server, which asks Gumroad whether the key is valid and not refunded. We do not store the key on our server. To stop abuse, our server keeps your IP address in memory for up to 10 minutes to limit the number of checks; it is not written to any log or database by us.
With Pro active, your key and your saved settings are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only. You can remove both at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. "Reset to example values" removes your saved settings but keeps your key. Gumroad's answer to the licence check includes purchase details; our server reads them only to check that the purchase was not refunded or disputed, and does not keep them.
Why we use it
We use purchase data to deliver your order and support it (contract), support emails to answer you, and anonymous visit counts to improve the sites (legitimate interest).
Cookies
Our pages do not set cookies. We use no advertising, social media or tracking tools, so there is no cookie banner to click. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check for bots; it is not used for tracking. Gumroad's checkout pages have their own cookie policy.
Third-party services we use
- Cloudflare (hosting, security, cookie-free visit counts) - it processes your IP address to deliver and protect the site.
- Gumroad (payments, product delivery, licence keys).
- Google Gmail (our support inbox).
Each of them has its own privacy policy. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We do not use any other scripts or tracking tools.
Emails from us
We do not run a newsletter. If you buy a product, we may send you an update about that product through Gumroad (for example a corrected file). Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep data
Support emails: up to 2 years after our last exchange. Purchase records: 10 years, as Moroccan accounting law requires. Visit counts are anonymous totals.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Email hello@qazzly.com with the subject "Data request" and the email address you used. We answer within 30 days. Data that the law requires us to keep (such as sales records) is kept only for that purpose. You can also contact the data protection authority in your country.
Children
Our sites and products are made for adults and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
